Tango is 6 months old!!!

Tango is now 6 months old. He had his 6 month check-up on Monday. He's 17 lbs. and 25 in long. That puts him in the 40th %ile for his wight, but just he 10th in his height. Poor little boy. I hope he starts stretching soon.
We spent the weekend swimming and on the 4-wheeler. Here are some of those pictures...

After we got finished swimming, they (Madisyn and Neely)played on the 4 wheelers.



While Madi was riding the 4-wheeler, Evan was holding Tango. Aren't these sweet?

It was a little hot out there for him, so I took him inside. Seems to have made him happy.

Then I heard that Madisyn rolled her 4-wheeler in the mud, so we had to go back outside to see this....

She was so proud of herself. She and Neeley were having a contest to see who could get the muddiest. Sooo she jumped up from under the 4 wheeler and said, "I win!"

Here's the proof. One muddy little girl. But notice, the face is still beautifully intact due to the helmet she must wear at all times.

When we went back outside to see Madisyn roll her 'machine', we put a bigger hat on Tango.

Tango's Sink Bath

Tango is eating food and loving it....finally. And better yet, Madisyn loves feeding him!!! Here are some pictures of madisyn feeding Tango some greenbeans and pears....and then our sink bath. He got so dirty that we had to put him straight into the sink.

Madisyn's Recital!!!

On the same day as Madisyn's last soccer game, she ALSO had her recital. WE woke up at 6:30, took a nice long shower,had a nice breakfast and talked about our day....about how busy that it was and the energy we were going to need to make it through the day. She had a full dress rehearsal from 9-12. She had a soccer game at 2, then had to be back at the auditorium for her recital at 630.
She told me not to worry, that she had it all under control and that she had plenty of energy. And I've got to hand it to her...she was AMAZING. She was so sweet at rehearsal, she got dressed and danced like a pro, she played her best soccer game EVER!!!(she scored 6 points AND took the ball away from the other girls...not to mention she was the prettiest little girl out there with all of her make-up on!!) and then she was a champ at recital. It was a great day for Madisyn!!!

I tried to get Madisyn to take a nap between soccer and her recital. We watched a movie and ate popcorn.

But of course she waited until we were on our way to the recital to fall asleep...she just couldn't take it anymore....she was wiped out!!!

I made the hair bows!!! Had to give myself some credit. They didn't have anything for the girls to wear in the hair, so Madi and I made hair bows for all the girls. I was pretty proud of them.
