She wore her hair like this for the pictures on Thursday, but we opted for a quicker hairdo for the big day.
Here's the girls right before Gymfest started.
Some of the pictures are a little blurry. The girls were pretty far away and the lighting was bad....and of course, they were moving around a lot. But I think you can still get the idea.
This was their warm up. They danced along to some songs...like the Chicken Dance and the Macarena. It was pretty cute.
They did five events. I missed pictures of the first one...which of course was the closest event, because a little girl kept jumping up in front of my camera. I think she wanted her picture taken.
This is Madisyn on the spring board....sort of. They ran, jumped on the spring board and then onto a mat. Baby steps...they can't do flips yet.
Then onto the parallel bars...The teachers are really great about helping them where they need it, but letting them be independent where available. The girls feel very comfortable.

Then they did some trampoline work. Madisyn is an animal on the trampoline. She has no fear...you can tell she has one in her backyard.
Here she is checking out her hurt knee. I can't wait til that heals!!
All the girls got medals for their hard work. It was so cute watching her walk up those blocks to the top of the medal stand.

Tango ate dad's finger during gymfest...what else can he really do? :)
Right after Gymfest..we ran to eat a bite and it was off to a soccer game! She played the Short Suff this week. She scored two points...then fell on that blasted knee andopened up the scab...once again. Certainly it will be better by next week.

"Better watch out Short Stuff...here come the Butterflies!!" Don't the girls look intense? Notice Madisyn's socks....we had to pull them up past her knees so she'd consider going back in after she fell on her knee once again.

After the game was over, Allan promised her the ice cream truck....but the truck didn't show. Soooo we had to go to Sheridan's....bummer, huh?

On Sunday, Madi rode her bike and rode her bike and rode her bike.....she's been riding her bike since Grande has been here. I think she's wearing him out.
Look how she's dressed...she's such a silly girl.
We found the ice cream man...we had to hunt him down, but we found him. I think we ended up riding down two blocks before we caught up with him.
