Joyland!!!!!

Evan and I took Madisyn and Jayden to Joyland the other day. We had a great day. I rode all those big rides...twice. Once with each kid. Man, I got really sick to my stomach. I used to be able to ride those rides all day long....now, not so much. Evan rode the water rides every time with them. He's a big ride chicken.

Here's Jayden and Madisyn trying to decide which ride to ride first.

Tango was such a trooper. He sat, happily, in his stroller the WHOLE time. The only time we even heard a peep from him was when he wanted a cookie.

Evan's favorite game!!!

Here's the KIDS on the water ride. The ALL had a great time!

I really couldn't tell who had more fun....look who's hands are up. :)
A very happy Tango with his cookie.

Jayden and Madi leaving the park. They had such a good time together. I'm lucky....Madi and Jayden are about the same age. And in a few years....Tango and Caleb (or Squirrel...as Evan calls him) will be the same age. I mean they are the same age now, but they'll be able to play together soon.

I have a picture of Madisyn just like this when she was a year old. and believe it or not, they were doing the same thing...Evan had just left the house and they went to the door to watch him leave.

Tango now crawls all the way down the hall, pulls himself up on mirror and gives himself kisses....just like his daddy. ;)

I had a bit of a sad week. First, my friend Holly moved back to Alabama. She was the radiology tech at work. She was just in Lubbock for her husband to get his doctorate in blind studies...or something like that. So i knew she'd be leaving....still stinks. She had a little boy that was just two months younger than Tango....they would have been good friends. She is one of those people that I hope to keep in touch with....an absolutely beautiful person..inside and out. Anyway, we went out to eat right before she left. This is her and her little one and me and my little ones. I do wish her the best of luck...

Then...another one of my very best friends left work this week as well. She was the one who was ALWAYS there to listen. I, and everybody else at work, will miss her tremendously. I think that she made me a better person. Because she was always listening, adding her opinion, without ever judging, she taught me to do the same. I think that she made me a better mom, wife, sister, and friend. I will never forget the lessons she taught me. I will live my life a little less judgmental and more patient. I also learned the value of a person who just listens...i hope that i will add more of that in my life and that people will see that in me. Thank you!!

On a lighter note, here is a little video of Tango. He's a crawling animal now...and he loves the Chicken Dance. :)

Here is a new favorite picture. My bedroom has big black & white pictures of my kiddos. This is be a new addition to my room.
